The Max Table 160x80cm was designed by Ferruccio Laviani for the manufacturer Kartell. Working with exciting new materials and techniques and a roster of international talent, this Italian company has helped to shape the look of modern homes for over half a century. Ferruccio Laviani first gained recognition in the 1980s as part of the influential Memphis Group of Italian architects and designers. Employed as an art director by Kartell since 1991, he has also worked for a wide variety of other clients including high street fashion brands, luxury labels and automobile companies.
Strikingly industrial in its aesthetic, the Max Table 160x80cm features an ergonomic, hourglass-shaped table top resting on thin, three-pronged tubular legs tapering down to conical fixed feet. Available in a choice of tones, the laminate top is hard-wearing and scratch resistant, so that it will stay looking fresh and new even after heavy use in a busy office. The Max Table 160x80cm can also be clamped together with other tables in the same range to form larger work stations. Both eye-catching and practical, it is sure to make a great addition to a stylish contemporary workplace.
