We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food and Beverage Supervisor to become an integral part of our management team. In this dynamic role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our food and beverage operations. Key tasks will include:
1. Menu Planning and Development: Collaborating with chefs and the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menus, ensuring a diverse and high-quality selection of dishes and drinks.
2. Quality Control: Regularly inspecting food and beverage preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene. Implementing and enforcing health and safety regulations.
3. Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising food and beverage staff, including chefs, bartenders, and service teams. Scheduling staff shifts and managing workloads.
4. Customer Service Excellence: Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and feedback, and maintaining excellent service standards.
5. Inventory Management: Overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies, negotiating with vendors, and managing budgets. Implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
6. Financial Responsibilities: Monitoring and managing expenses and revenues, setting financial targets, and participating in budget preparation.
7. Event Management: Coordinating with event planners for special occasions, customizing menus and services to suit event requirements.
8. Trend Analysis and Innovation: Keeping abreast of the latest trends in food and beverages, and incorporating innovative ideas to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
9. Reporting and Administration: Preparing regular reports on food and beverage performance and strategies, and ensuring all compliance documents are up-to-date.
10. Collaboration and Coordination: Working closely with other departments to ensure a cohesive and seamless operation, particularly with regards to catering and event services.
The role is reporting directly to Director of Food and Beverage.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of creativity, enthusiasm, and leadership skills, coupled with a passion for culinary excellence and outstanding customer service. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
